While this thing may be lying around your house somewhere, have you ever thought about how it’s made? A video that has gone viral on social media shows the process of turning trash into cardboard. The video surprised many.

The video opens to show the trash mixing in water and then breaking down into a softer mixture. It is then transferred to a machine where the wet cardboard is cut.
