MANDY NEWS reached out to the Buguma Indians for comment.

MANDY NEWS (MN) thinks the claim is incorrect. Singer Teniola Apata, also known as the Teni incident from Bugum City, Asari-Toru Local Government Area, was not a kidnapping. The billionaire singer was escorted off stage by her management after a fight broke out backstage.

The video was retweeted, liked, and received over 6,000 comments. Many Twitter users are still retweeting it, believing it to be a kidnapping case.

what Teni said about the viral video

In a post on Instagram, Teni said it would have been a different story if it hadn’t been for God, adding that she and her team returned home safely.

What the event organizers said

“There was no physical struggle before the bottles were thrown in opposite directions backstage. TENI did not throw bottles while she was performing on stage. The shots were not fired by civilians, as some uninformed people speculated,” the statement said.
