It’s the start of a brand new season Fortnite, and of course, it comes with a lot of challenges to meet. During Chapter 3, Season 4, players have access to a new set of quests, many of which require you to visit certain areas of the map. You’ll also need to use some of the new seasonal features, so be sure to spend some time getting used to Chrome’s new locales and mechanics.

Season 4 Week 1 Missions

Season 4 Week 1 Quest Guide
Walk through the doors at Cloudy Condos and No Sweat Insurance

Breaking through a door is different from simply opening it. You have to run towards the door, and when you collide with it, you will break through it. So you have to do it in every location. Remember, Cloudy Condos is the new air location, so be sure to land there first because it’s in the air. As for No Sweat Insurance, it sits in the middle of Tilted Towers. This is a large building with a yellow balloon on top. Use the map above for each location. You don’t have to break through both doors in one game.
Damage players with the Lever Action Shotgun or the Suppressed Auto Gun
As you play, you should keep your eyes open for the Lever Action Shotgun and the Suppressed Submachine Gun. Since the Suppressed SMG has a longer range, you may have better luck with it, but choose what works best for you. You must deal 350 damage with one or both of these weapons, and your progress is tracked over multiple matches.
Dislodge the runaway boulder with a sliding kick

You may have trouble with this quest since sliding kicks don’t do much damage, but there is a trick you can use to make it easier. For this we advise visiting the hill south of the Tilted Towers (as shown on the map above), but there are many other areas that contain Runaway Boulders. Anyway, get closer and damage the Boulder with the pickaxe first to weaken it. Then, once the Boulder is low on health, go back and perform a dash into it, which will send it flying from its position.
Drive different types of chrome vehicles
For this quest, you must use Chrome Splashes, which are located in various locations on the map. First, we recommend landing in Cloudy Condos, near the Chrome area. Either destroy Chrome trees or look for Chrome chests that contain Chrome Splashes. We recommend getting your hands on at least three of them because that’s how many different vehicles you have to drive. Then look for a vehicle in this area and cast Chrome Splash on it. Afterwards, drive the vehicle to another area, such as the Shimmering Shrine, to find another car or truck. Repeat the process by throwing Chrome Splash on the next vehicle, then visit the last area to drive the third vehicle. Tilted Towers is a great place for vehicles. Note that you don’t have to drive all three Chrome vehicles in one match.
Hit opponents while sliding
The text for this quest is weird — you don’t have to slide into enemies to damage them, but damage them with bullets as you slide. You have to hit 10 opponents, but they don’t have to be real players. Wolves and other NPCs also count. We recommend carrying a great melee weapon like a pistol or SMG, and when you see an enemy, get close to them and do your best to deal damage.
Hunt different types of wild animals

There are many different wildlife around the map, so you can keep an eye on them while playing normally and remove them gradually. If you want to start this quest right away, it’s best to visit places around the main hubs like Greasy Grove and Herald’s Sanctum. There is also a lot of wildlife around the Lustrous Lagoon. Either way, you have to defeat three different types of wild animals in any number of matches.
Buy an item from Panther, Mancake, or The Underwriter

Above is a map of all three NPCs required for this quest. You just need to buy an item from one of them, which makes this quest a little easier. Just make sure you have a few hundred gold bars set aside to buy any item.
