Season 3 Week 9 Missions Guide

Bouncing on three separate Crash Pads without landing (1)

There are two ways to complete this. The easiest way is to visit the islands east of Sanctuary, where you’ll find four Crash Pads scattered around. Make sure you line up with the next Drop at the peak of your jump so you have the full length of the drop to adjust your position. Another way to complete this challenge is by using Crash Pad items, which can be collected from chests or as loot on the floor. Throw one down, bounce onto it, then at the peak of your jump position yourself forward, then place another before you hit the ground. Do this a total of three times and you’ll get credit for completing the challenge.

Collect seeds from Reality Seed Pods before they stop bouncing (3)

There are many different locations that contain Reality Seed Pods, such as Reality Falls or even the newer location east of the Rave Cave shown on the map above. Once you destroy the pod, all the seeds will fly into the air before falling to the ground. After they touch the ground, they will bounce several times. You have to collect all three before they stop bouncing, which sounds a lot harder than it is. Since each seed flies into the air before falling to the ground, you should have plenty of time to collect them all before the last one stops bouncing. Just be sure to note where they are as they fly up.

Deal damage to opponents while riding a wolf or boar (500)

Wolves and boars are everywhere on the map, for example in the area east of the Shuffled Shrines. Press first Jump button to climb onto the animal’s back, and once you do, ride it around until you see an enemy player. It helps if you use a long-range automatic weapon like an assault rifle so you can deal damage from afar. You need to deal 500 damage, which means it will take several different enemies to complete this. Fortunately, it’s cumulative, meaning you can progress over multiple matches.

Gain shields while feeling (1)

For this challenge, you’ll need a Shield Keg, which can be placed on the ground, spraying shields at nearby players. Because of this, you can use Emotes while Keg is spraying shields at you.

Hold the Charge SMG at maximum charge for three seconds, then damage the opponent (1)

The Charge SMG is a newer weapon that players have gravitated towards due to its power. You can find it in chests or as floor loot, so when you do, be on the lookout for other enemy players or creatures like wolves. When you see them, hold down To shoot button, which will charge the weapon. A small gauge will appear, and when it’s full, shoot the enemy. As long as it connects, you’ll earn credit for this one.

Open chests in Tilted Towers in one match (3)

Ah, the old classic “open chests at location X” challenge. Luckily Tilted Towers is full of chests, so land there and do your best to explore and open chests as quickly as possible as this area is often busy. Make sure you turn it on Visualize the sound effects for easier finding of chests (and enemies).

Plant or summon a Reality Seedling 30 or more yards away from you (1)

This quest seems much harder than it is. Once you get your hands on the Reality Sapling, go to the top of a building or mountain and simply drop the item from the top. As long as you are at least 30 meters away, you will receive credit for completing the challenge.
