Steve Doocy, Ainsley Earhardt and Brian Kilmeade host Fox & Friends, an American conservative weekday morning news/talk show that first aired on Fox News on February 1, 1998. The show begins at 6:00 a.m. ET with the latest Fox News Headlines live and morning news, then moves on to current events, interviews, news updates and features. Fox & Friends was spun off from Fox X-press, the network’s first morning news show. After the 9/11 attacks, an additional hour was added to the beginning of the daytime show, but it was branded as Fox & Friends First. Beginning at 6:00 a.m., it was Fox News’ first live broadcast. On July 13, 2008, it was canceled and replaced by an additional hour of Fox & Friends. On March 5, 2012, Fox & Friends First was relaunched as a separate show airing one hour before the main three-hour program, albeit with a different roster of rotating hosts. Steve Doocy

Doocy began his television career as a reporter for television stations in Topeka, Des Moines, Wichita and Kansas City. As a reporter, his first major market engagement was with the WRC in Washington, DC. Became host of NBC’s nationally syndicated House Party with Steve Doocy in 1990. Co-hosted Wake Up America on NBC’s America’s Talking in 1994, his first morning gig. In 1996, Doocy joined CBS’ flagship TV station, WCBS-TV, in New York to anchor the morning broadcast. Doocy began co-hosting Fox News Channel’s Fox & Friends morning show in 1998, after joining the network in 1996.

Ainsley Earhardt

Earhardt began working for Fox News Channel in 2007. Then she was hired to work online. She has co-hosted Fox and Friends Weekend, All-American New Year’s Eve, and America’s News Headquarters, and has her own Hannity program called “Ainsley Across America.” As a panelist, she was on Greg Gutfeld’s Red Eye and The Live Desk. Earhardt joined Fox & Friends as co-host in 2016.

Brian Kilmeade

He began working as a correspondent for Channel One News, a daily national high school news program. His first major broadcast was for KHSL-TV in Chico, Calif., as host and anchor. He then worked as the play-by-play announcer for UFC 2 and UFC 3. Since 1998, he has hosted Fox and Friends with Steve Doocy and Ainsley Earhardt on Fox’s morning cable show.
