Guests are mistreated and denied their reservations by an Airbnb receptionist

Law student Dyne Suh, 25, of Riverside, said she and her life partner were expecting a short trip

Dyne Suh, a 25-year-old law student from Riverside, said she and her partner were expecting a short excursion during President’s Day weekend at Big Bear Lake, a major ski resort about two hours east of Los Angeles by car. About a month before their trip, Suh booked a mountain home on Airbnb that was listed as a “treehouse loft with private bathroom” in Running Springs, California. Suh revealed in a phone interview Friday that she later notified the host to inquire about whether she could include two more companions and two dogs in the reservation and was informed that Arzbet would be fine. Suh said, “We were looking forward to it, especially with law school and work and a big job. It was a welcome break.” Suh was rudely informed by a hostess named Tami, “If you think 4 people and 2 dogs are going to get a room for $50 a night on Big Bear Mountain on the busiest weekend of the year. You’re crazy high.” The host texted her, according to Suh’s screenshots of the exchange. She also called Suha a “fraudster” and scratched the booking. Date Updated: July 26, 2018, 3:32 p.m
