Food Network upholds the tradition of combining Hollywood with food. Guy’s Ultimate Game Night, the network’s next cooking show, premieres August 31 at 9:00 p.m. ET. The show is hosted by Guy Fieri, a chef and restaurateur who is collaborating with the network for the sixth time. The new show will include talk shows, food games, and Hollywood characters. Viewers will watch celebrities from a variety of fields compete in a cooking contest that they must win to win huge cash prizes to donate to the charity of their choice.
According to the official synopsis of the show:
“Celebrity contestants compete in front of a live studio audience for a chance to win prizes for their favorite charity in a new game show that offers a culinary twist to traditional parties. Chef Antonia Lofaso oversaw the entire competition as celebrities interacted with the food in a hands-on challenge and tested their culinary skills with quizzes and quizzes. They had to be on guard because they never knew what Guy might throw at them. Let the fun begin!

Guy has asked some of his close friends and Hollywood acquaintances to compete in his food game at the next food event. Celebrities will participate in fun food-themed games, trivia and quizzes. Specifically, the games will feature jobs like decorating pizza to look like Fieri, decorating cakes for the blind, and an experimental “Cooktionary,” which will be a food-themed version of Pictionary.
Games that will be played during the show include Hot Potato, Charade the Pantry, Cloche Encounters and Shop ‘Til You Drop. Additionally, in a press release, Jane Latman, President, Streaming and Home & Food Content, Warner Bros. Discovery, gave its opinion on the new cooking show. She stated:
“Guy’s Ultimate Game Night is unlike any other cooking game. Audiences will enjoy playing at home, trying to guess the answer and learning new food facts.”
She continued:
“We can join the party and enjoy the fun games organized by Guy Fieri himself, who runs the game.”
Chef Antonio Lofaso, who has starred in culinary series such as Top Chef, Chopped and Cutthroat Kitchen, will help light the fire.
