Here’s What Keke Palmer Told National Guardsmen At Protest (Video)

“You have to understand what’s going on,” he told the well-armed, camouflage-clad soldiers. “We have a president who is trying to incite a race war.”

“We need you,” she said. “So march with us. March with us. You have your people. March with us. March with us. Let the revolution be televised.”

Palmer said: “No, no, no, let’s do it. We start to march, and you march with us. Please.” When some in the crowd began to cheer and encourage them, the guard explained that he couldn’t leave his seat, but he offered to “march down this street with you.”

A woman who was standing asked the guards to kneel: “Can you do me a favor? Can you kneel?” He replied, “Absolutely.”

Palmer said, “I don’t know, that’s not enough for me.”

But the man dropped to one knee, and several other members of his unit joined him, one by one.
