Big Brother housemate Ngozi Erica Nlewedim, popularly called Erica, has been disqualified from the Big Brother season 5 reality show Naija after she verbally assaulted Laycon and other housemates who tried to calm her down.
In a moment of fiery anger, Erica threatened Laycon multiple times, even killing her in front of BBNaija’s house. Erica was disqualified from the show on Sunday, September 6, 2020 after receiving two warnings, Biggie’s last warning being excessive for breaking some rules.
Why was Erica disqualified from Big Brother Naija?
1. Another rule that the HOH broke was the destruction of property in the Big Brother house.
Deputy HOH Prince tried to calm her down and get her to stop taking actions that would further involve her. However, Prince’s attempt only fueled Erica’s anger when she claimed that he wasn’t fully choosing her side.
2. Angry, she proceeded to pour water on the bed in the HOH lounge to prevent Prince from having a place to stay for the night.
3. Erica finally used the word ‘vote’ again during the discussion with Kiddway. Erica said that she hopes viewers will refuse to vote for Laycon after seeing how manipulative she has been in the house.
