Call of Duty: Modern Warfare is here with a large number of new weapons and accessories for players to try out. Players can customize their weapons to suit their play styles, whether it’s running and shooting or lying down and camping. However, a crazy combination has emerged on the internet, seeing the most amazing weapon perform an insane feat of long-distance combat.
Reddit user TmuIIz posted a clip from Call of Duty: Modern Warfare shared by Polygon showing the 725 shotgun headshotting an enemy so far in the distance that they’re barely visible even with a scope. At that range, we wouldn’t expect the shotgun to do anything, but the shot lands for the kill, making the sniper shotgun one of the craziest weapons we’ve seen in the game.

Equip your rifle
For the kit that TmuIIz uses, you will need to equip the 725 shotgun. This shotgun is a beast up close, easy one shot kills. So when you’re not trying to fire off sneaky, long-range shots with it, you can take down nearby enemies.
Customize it in the armory
TmuIIz explained that the 725 setup used in the clip has “Mono supp, tempest 32 Barr, fmj, slug, Browne 32mm scope.” We’ll look at how to set this up and what other options might offer more flexibility.
Here’s a short version for those who know Gunsmith and just want TmuIIz settings.
- Muzzle: monolithic suppressor
- Barrel: Tempus 32 Competition
- Optics: Brownlee 32mm sight

Muzzle
Hop into Gunsmith to customize the fitment of your 725. Starting at the front, place a monolithic suppressor on the muzzle slot. This not only silences the weapon, but also increases its damage range. This may slow down the ADS speed, but you’ll already have to spend time stringing up long-range shots.
Barrel
To ensure maximum pistol range, place the Tempus 32 Competition barrel in the barrel slot. This is the one that uses TmuIIz, and the only one that helps with range. The others available for the 725 will actually hinder your ability to hit distant targets.
Optical
There is no laser in this setup, but there are optics. It’s a Brownlee 32mm scope. Although this is the one seen in the clip, you can choose any long-range scope you want. If you don’t plan on taking too many pictures over the map, you may be better off with a lower magnification scope like the VLK 3.0x Optic.
ammunition
This kit also skips the stock and under-barrel slots. However, you will need to choose a Slug for your ammo. A standard shotgun round spreads, but when you fire one round it will keep all the damage in one place. This will mean you need to control your aim better than you normally would with shotgun ammo, but it ensures kills at longer ranges.
Privilege
Finally, the kit skips the guardian slot in favor of a perk. TmuIIz used the FMJ (Full Metal Jacket) perk to increase bullet penetration. If you don’t plan on shooting enemies from cover, you can replace this with another perk or perk. Some of the available Stock and Underbarrel mods can help with recoil or hip fire, while the Laser mods can also boost your flank fire.
