Once you get to the post-game in Scarlet Pokemon and Violet you are ready to take on the toughest challenges the game has to offer. There are plenty of things to test your team with, including four new Legendary Pokémon. However, each of them requires you to go hunting for a chance to find them. Ting-Lu is a powerful enemy, but also a great potential ally if you catch him. This is how you can deal with it Scarlet Pokemon and Violet.
How to catch Ting-Lu
Ting-Lu is hidden behind a locked shrine just like all the other legendaries. To unlock it, you will first need to find the eight green Sinister Stakes in Paldea.
Step 1 – Find the eight sinister green roles. You can find them at the locations marked on the map below. After pulling the last stake, you will hear a mysterious scream coming from the shrine.
Step 2: Visit the Groundblight Shrine located in the northwestern region of Paldea.
If you complete all of the history lessons in school and continue to talk to Mrs. Raifort after that, she will eventually tell you the old Paldean story of the Ruined Quartet and mark the location of the Groundblight Shrine and other shrines on your overworld map.

Step 3: Contact the shrine to start the battle with Ting-Lu.
Ting-Lu is a level 60 Dark/Ground type. He will be immune to Electric and Psychic types and vulnerable to Water, Fighting, Bugs, Grass, Ice, and Fairies, so be careful around them so you don’t kick him too fast if you want to catch it.
