The latest social media filter is an anime filter on Snapchat that turns you into a real anime character.

The face filter, called Anime Style, first appeared on the app earlier this year and matches your facial expressions in real time.

How to get an anime filter on Snapchat

Most people will find the filter included at the bottom with all the other Snapchat filters, but some people still report that they can’t find the filter. If you haven’t found the filter yet, here’s how to check if it’s been added.

First, you’ll need to download the latest version of Snapchat if you haven’t already.
Open the app and turn the lens towards you as if taking a selfie.
Click the smiley filter button to the right of the main button.
Click the explore button in the lower right corner of the filter options.
Look for Anime style using the search bar. Make sure the creator of the filter is Snapchat as there are many other anime face filters in the results.
Now you can take a selfie to see how you would look like an anime character.
You can also click the Camera Roll option to apply the filter to any photo on your phone.

One small drawback of the filter is that it can only “animate” one person’s face at a time. The filter will also only work on your face, not your body.
