Like most bosses in Fortnite, Wildguard Relik has a fairly large shield and health bars, making him a particularly difficult opponent to take down, especially if you’re not prepared. Because of this, it’s recommended that you only challenge him after you’ve taken off your shields, picked up at least two decent weapons, and collected plenty of ammo. Having some healing items also helps as you can take significant damage in this fight if you are in a closed space with the boss.
When you’re ready to counter the Wildguard Relic, start spinning his shield with your strongest weapon. In most cases, it’s preferable to stay in the midrange, as it hits pretty hard up close. You might have a bit more trouble hitting him with some weapons at longer ranges, though DMR can certainly come in handy if you want to keep your distance. Keep in mind that he will often teleport around the area and hide, which means you’ll need to pay extra attention to where you’re moving at all times. Lastly, be careful of the Wildwasp flasks he throws at you, as they can deal extra damage if you’re not careful.
Wildguard Relic weapon and item drops
After you defeat the Wildguard Relic, it will drop some extremely useful items for you to pick up.
