Well, it’s called Yoroi armor, and it’s related to how hello infinity carries its seasons.
If you want to improve the appearance of your character’s armor, you can collect armor cores in different ways. The easiest way is to mark them on the campaign map and go open the lockers. But special skins like Yoroi are not so easy to find. Let’s go over the details of these skins, why Yoroi is currently unavailable, and how to make sure you get the skin you’ve been eyeing.
Where does Yoroi armor come from?
The Yoroi armor was a reward from the first season. hello infinity, in the early days of multiplayer. The first season ran for several months in late 2021, and while it was live, players were able to complete various challenges and participate in special events.
One of the biggest special modes is Fracture, and in Season 1 it was the Fracture: Tenrai event. By completing challenges in this mode, you can rank up in the Fracture Event Pass. Complete enough challenges to reach Rank 5 in the Event Pass and unlock the Yoroi Armor Core. These are pretty easy to get, but all the samurai skins will require you to complete the Event Pass to at least rank 25 to unlock the Yokai helmet, or up to 30 to unlock the Yokai accessories that can be mixed and matched to get the best samurai look.
While you played Season 1, these rewards were free. However, those who paid $10 for Premium Battle Passes had an advantage over others in that they could complete multiple challenges at once (it’s a weird system).
So there is no way to get Yoroi armor right now?
No. After the conclusion of Season 1, the Fracture: Tenrai event has ended. This event was only way to earn yoroi armor. Please note that the Season 1 Battle Pass, which can still be equipped, is a separate reward system from the Event Pass and has different cosmetic rewards that do not include Yoroi armor.
Will the Yoroi armor be available in a future Halo Infinite event?
We do not know. It will depend on whether Halo brings back the Fracture: Tenrai event or not.
