  2. Enter the ‘Gmail username’ you want to recover and click ‘Next’.
  3. You’ll see a message saying ‘This account was recently deleted and can be recovered’; if you do not see this message, it means that your account cannot be recovered; press ‘Next’ to continue.
  4. Then enter your Gmail account password and click ‘Next’.
  5. You will see the message ‘Success – you have canceled your account deletion’; then you can successfully login to your Gmail account.

Scenario 2 – If you don’t remember your password

  1. Visit this link in your web browser – https://accounts.google.com/signin/v2/recoveryidentifier?flowName=GlifWebSignIn&flowEntry=ServiceLogin
  2. Enter the ‘Gmail username’ you want to recover and click ‘Next’.
  3. You’ll see a message saying ‘This account was recently deleted and can be recovered’; if you do not see this message, it means that your account cannot be recovered; press ‘Next’ to continue.
  4. When prompted for your password, click ‘Try another’
  5. Now click ‘Submit’ to receive a verification code to your number.
  6. Enter the code and click ‘Confirm’.
  7. You may also need to verify your recovery email address if you’ve added it to your Gmail account.
  8. After verification, you can easily create a new password for your Gmail account

Then your deleted Gmail account will be restored and you will see the message ‘Success – you have recovered your account’
