Microsoft Teams is a great tool for collaboration in any environment. Team members can rely on Microsoft Teamsmembers whether they’re stuck in the office, working from home, or collaborating from conference rooms and coffee shops scattered around the world.
But if you don’t need Microsoft’s collaboration tool, then you’ll want to know how to uninstall Microsoft Teams from Windows and macOS.

Windows 10
Step 1: Right-click the Start button and select Applications and features listed at the top of the menu.

Step 2: settings application appears on your screen. On the right, scroll down to (or search for) Microsoft teams input. Click on it.
Step 3: Click on Uninstall button.
Step 4: Press for a second Uninstall confirmation button.

Step 5: More A “last chance” window appears on the screen asking, Do you want to allow this app to make changes on your device?? Click on That button to complete the uninstallation.
Alternatively, you can take the long route by clicking on the notification icon next to the system clock and selecting All settings in the Action Center. Then click applications inside the Settings app and find Microsoft Teams on Applications and features a list.
You can also uninstall most apps directly from the Start menu. Just left-click the Start button and scroll through the list of apps until you find Microsoft Teams. Then right-click on the application name and select Uninstall from the drop-down menu. You’ll get the same prompt as the method above, and then Teams will be uninstalled, which is easy.
If you need to download Microsoft Teams again later, please return to the official website to download the desktop client. Currently, the company does not offer an app for Windows 10 through the Microsoft Store.
MacOS
Step 1: Click the Finder icon with a smiley face displayed in the Dock.

Step 2: When the Finder app appears on your screen, select Apps on the left.
Step 3: Microsoft Teams doesn’t have a dedicated uninstaller, so to get rid of the app, you’ll need to manually move it to the Trash. Right click on the team icon and several options will appear. Click Move to Trash.

Another option to manually trash Microsoft Teams is to tap and hold the icon and drag it to the end of the Dock at the bottom of the screen, where the Trash icon is located. Throw it in the trash.

Step 4: Just because you’ve kicked out an app doesn’t mean it’s completely uninstalled. For the final step, right-click the Trash and click Empty Trash. This action will completely remove Microsoft Teams.
You can always go back to the official website and download Microsoft Teams again if needed. The platform is also available in the Apple app store, but that app is only compatible with iPhone and iPad, not MacOS.
