How to use Night Shift on your iPhone

The Night Shift feature in iOS lets you filter blue light and adjust the color warmth of your screen. It automatically adjusts your screen colors when the sun is in your location, using your phone’s geolocation and clock to determine this. When it’s morning, it returns your screen to normal settings.

Step 1: You can turn on the night shift by opening it Control center and pressing Brightness control.

Step 2: Then tap on the symbol that looks like a small sun.

Step 3: Alternatively, go to Settings > Display & Brightness > Night Shift.

Step 4: We recommend that you adjust the settings for Night Shift here by toggling Schedule included and entering the time for automatic switching on and off. Ours is on from 10pm to 7am. If you don’t set a time, it will automatically turn on at sunset and turn off at sunrise. You can also manually enable it until the next day.
