AQUAMAN actor Jason Momoa is the latest big name to snap up a house in a seaside village in Cornwall that A-listers are scrambling to buy.
Hollywood actress Cate Blanchett, Fifty Shades of Gray star Jamie Dornan and Coldplay frontman Chris Martin all have holiday homes in Mawgan Porth, near Newquay.

Movie star Jason Statham and The Devil Wears Prada actor Stanley Tucci are believed to own there.
Now superhero actor Jason was snooping around.
He was seen gazing at the top of a cliff in the town, dubbed Hollywood-on-Sea by locals.
One local said: “Jason was filming Aquaman and The Lost Kingdom two hours from here in Saunton Sands in Devon and loved the pace of life. There’s a place on the cliffs that he apparently fell in love with and now wants to buy.
“Homes like this turn into the luxury places you see on Grand Designs, so this one could be very special. Mawgan says that Jason will be the next big star to move in.
“Not everyone is a celebrity fan who comes here, but a lot of people think it’s exciting that you can shop next to Aquaman.”
Rich and famous
Builders have been snapping up lots, demolishing properties and creating superhomes to attract the rich and famous, locals report.
Coldplay’s Chris was seen shopping, but the other celebrities kept a low profile here.
It’s not hard to see why the glitz of showbiz descends on this beautiful part of the UK.
But us mere mortals would need a pretty big lottery win to snag one of the Hollywood-inspired homes.

ED Sheeran’s protégé, Maisie Peters, wants to form a supergroup after the release of her second album.
She released The Good Witch in June and is looking forward to playing in bands with famous friends.

Maisie said: “I have a lot of goals. The goal is to do this in ten or 20 years. I want a career that will last for decades.
“Then there are more obvious immediate ones. I want to headline festivals, write books and be in bands.

On I The writer is . . . podcast, she added: “I feel like that’s the real thing we should be bringing back – the supergroup.
“There are artists that I love and I think it would be great if we could all be in bands. I would like to join someone.”

It’s an awkward team-up considering the actor is Kylie’s ex-fiancé.
The actor and Kylie tied the knot in 2015 and were engaged until the Love at First Sight singer ended things in 2017 amid suspicions he had been unfaithful.
Delta’s new romcom will hit the streaming platform on September 28.
She plays a pilot who falls in love with Joshua’s character, who is sent to sink her business.
Delta, who has just released her new single Back To Your Heart, said of Kylie last week: “Kylie is such an inspiration. What she does is phenomenal.
“It shows that it doesn’t matter. If you make music that people enjoy and want to be a part of your community, that’s it, you do it. Dreams have no expiration date.”
Emeli has a yo-star
EMELI Sande is planning a musical collaboration with her fiancee, classical pianist Yoana Karemova.
They worked on the song on July 25 for the singer’s latest album Let’s Say For Instance 2022.

But Emeli hopes to do a bigger project with a pianist next time.
She said in an exclusive interview: “We have a lot of music that we want to finish together.
“It’s great when you work with someone you know so well. She is so incredibly talented.”
Emeli has just released a new single, There For You, from her fifth album How Were We To Know, which is out in November.
The couple got engaged last September, but are no closer to getting married.
Emeli said: “I’ve been so busy trying to get everything together and performing at summer festivals.
“It would be nice to do it in the sun. My friend said: ‘When are you getting married? I don’t care about the serious part, when is the party? Where will the holiday be?’
“Because of the expectations of the guests, we may have to do it somewhere sunny.”
