IIT Mandi Convocation 2023: Indian Institute of Technology Mandi held its 11th convocation. A total of 565 students graduated, of which 426 men and 139 women, and 60 PhDs. dr. Ajit Kumar Mohanty, Secretary, Department of Atomic Energy and Chairman, Atomic Energy Commission graced the occasion as the Chief Guest.

This year, a total of 52 undergraduate students; 66 of them graduated from postgraduate and master’s studies and 14 from doctoral studies, surpassing the number from previous years. IIT Mandi said that there has been a rise in the number of female students passing out in various streams.

Congratulating the students, Chief Guest Ajit Kumar Mohanty, Secretary, Chairman, Department of Atomic Energy, Atomic Energy Commission said, “Graduation does not come easily. It includes years of hard work and perseverance, struggle and sacrifice, successes, achievements, and perhaps some disappointments. Therefore, this day will probably be one of the most important and unforgettable milestones in your life and career.”
