Incredible ‘personality test’ optical illusion could tell if you’re reliable or anxious – what do YOU see first?

The optical illusion ‘PERSONALITY test’ is said to reveal whether you are trusting or anxious – depending on what you see first.

Some say the new viral image shows a shark dominantly, while others insist they instinctively focused on the flotilla of ships.

Now the person behind the picture has interpreted what it could say not only about personality but also about confidence and outlook.

Content creator Mia Yilin, from the United States, shared the image with the words: “What do you see first in this picture?”

And she believes that your answer will show if you are a solid and reliable worker or if you have a more worried character.

Her 51-second TikTok video has now been viewed nearly 2 million times, and the debate is raging about what should catch the eye first — though most seem to agree with her opening choice.

Shark

If the first thing you see is a shark, this clearly marks you as a reliable person who can handle things independently at work.

And Mia predicts: “You will soon have a lot of success in your career.”

“You are a very responsible person and always give your best, so these upcoming achievements have been a long time coming.

“You are a huge asset to any team and you know your worth.”

However, she suggested that the past six months could have been “quite stressful”, although she hinted that the rest of the year will be “smooth” – adding: “And a lot of your dreams will come true.”

Boats

Being the first to be drawn to ships sailing across the ocean is clearly what people who are “very ambitious” will do – but there could still be certain uncertainties holding them back, Mia believes.

She said, “Until now, you have been impatient to face the unknown and have only conformed to the expectations of those around you.”

But better personal news is on the horizon, she believes – declaring: “You’re about to meet someone who will give you a lot of support and help.

“You want to change your life for the better and this person will help you do that.”

Many people who turned on TikTok felt recognized, labeling the explanations “accurate” and “absolutely correct”.

However, the responses also revealed divided opinions on what caught the eye first, the shark or the ships.

One commenter posted: “I’ve seen a shark and the past six months have been tough for me,” while another wrote: “My first shark sighting and it’s true, my past six months have been stressful – let’s hope fix things.”

Another wondered: “How can you be so accurate? They’ve been depressed for the last six months.”

Also suggested: “I saw a shark so I’m waiting patiently” – as well as: “I thought the boats were shark teeth.”

Another commenter joked: “I’ve seen a shark, but I don’t think I’m the best asset to the company I work for.”

Still, a rare dissenter asked, “Am I the only one who saw the ships first?”

Mia, who has more than 456,000 followers on TikTok, shares many similar optical illusion poses.

Recent debates have been about whether what you see shows you to be flippant or overthinking, an outgoing leader or more of a compromiser – as well as the divide between cynics and innocents.

A previous worldwide viral sensation was the debate over whether a dress worn at a wedding should be blue and black or white and gold.

Celebrities including Kim Kardashian, Kanye West and Taylor Swift were among those who joined the Twitter row over what color it is.

Similar rifts emerged when an Australian TV reporter shared images of clothing that some saw as white and others saw as blue.

Oscar winner Billie Eilish also caused arguments when she asked what color the sneakers were, pink or green.
