India is hosting the 13th edition of the cricket mega event World Cup 2023. The tournament, which started on October 5, is being played at ten different stadiums in India. The Indian Air Force (IAF) took to X to share a picture of one of the stadiums and ask people if they could guess the name correctly.

“A bird’s eye view of the #WorldCup2023. Hit the stadium,” the IAF wrote while sharing the picture. The image taken from an elevated perspective shows an empty stadium. Can you guess his name?

The post was shared a few hours ago. Since then, it has garnered close to 71,000 views and is still growing. The share also collected almost 1700 likes. Reacting to the video, people posted different comments, and some even recognized the iconic stadium. If you couldn’t guess the name, let us help you. It is the Muthiah Annamalai (MA) Chidambaram Stadium located in Chennai, Tamil Nadu.

“This is an emotion,” wrote user X. “One and only Čepauk,” added another. This iconic stadium is often referred to as the Chepauk Stadium based on the name of the place where it is located.
“It can be Mumbai or Chennai. Mumbai Stadium doesn’t have such a wide beach, so it has to be Marina Beach in Chennai. PS: I have never been to Chennai,” expressed a third. “The Marina beach is visible, there is not much doubt about the correct assumption,” commented the fourth.

The Chepauk Stadium is India’s oldest cricket stadium still in continuous use. Formerly known as the Madras Cricket Club Ground, this venue has a capacity of 38,200. In the ICC Men’s Cricket World Cup 2023, a total of five matches will be played at this stadium.
