Installation date of Lord Ram idol in Ayodhya Ram temple announced. Here’s everything you need to know!

On Wednesday, Shri Ram Janambhoomi Trust General Secretary Champat Rai said that the idol of Lord Ram will be installed in the Ayodhya Ram Temple on January 22, 2024.

“Today, along with members of Shri Ram Janambhoomi Trust, we met Prime Minister Narendra Modi. We have invited him (PM Modi) to come on January 22 to install the idol of Lord Ram at Garbhagrih. He has accepted our request. He will be present on January 22 . The date for ‘Pran Pratishtha’ has been confirmed on January 22,” said general secretary of Shri Ram Janambhoomi Trust.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s happiness was at the next level after meeting the officials of Shri Ram Janambhoomi Trust.

The Prime Minister of India expressed that he felt extremely blessed. He further added that it will be his luck to be a part of such a historic occasion.

On social media platform X, formerly Twitter, the Indian Prime Minister said, “Jai Siya Ram! Today is a day full of emotions. Recently the officials of Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust came to meet me at my residence. He invited me to come to Ayodhya for the consecration Shri Ram Temple. I feel very blessed. It is my fortune to witness this historic occasion in my lifetime.”

All this was made possible by the judgment of the Supreme Court from 2019. The verdict on the Ayodhya issue cleared the way for the country to build a huge Ram temple. Following the Supreme Court verdict, the Center established the Shri Ram Janma Bhoomi Tirtha Kshetra Trust. The foundation is empowered to take all the necessary decisions related to the construction of the huge Shri Ram temple in Ayodhya.

The Foundation has been overseeing the construction of the Shri Ram Temple in Ayodhya all this time and the progress has been good and steady. It is in the holy sanctum of the temple where the idol of Shri Ram Lalla will be installed.

The grand journey of building this beautiful magnificent temple began on August 5, 2020, when Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi laid the foundation stone for the construction of the temple.
