IPS officer fasting for Navratri gets sweet surprise on IndiGo flight

People fasting during Navratri often face the problem of finding neck-friendly snacks while travelling. Most prefer not to eat anything while in transit. IPS officer Arun Bothra while flying in an IndiGo flight refused to take any snacks for the same reason. What he wasn’t prepared for, however, was the sweet surprise that followed. One of the flight attendants returned to him with a tray full of food that he could eat. Expressing his gratitude, Bothra took to X to share this heartfelt gesture.

“Mother Divine cares for you in different forms. Today she came as Purvi, crew member of IndiGo 6E. As I didn’t take snacks due to #Navratri fasting, she came back with Sabudana chips, Til Chikki and tea. When I asked her how much she should pay, she said: ‘I have no money, sir. I’m fasting too,’ he wrote.

The IPS officer also shared a picture showing various snacks being kept on a tray along with a glass of liquor. A note on the tray also reads: “Mr. Bothra, it was a pleasure to have you with us today. May NavDurga bless you with abundance. From Purvi.”
