Authorities say a driver they believe was under the influence of drugs repeatedly crashed into cars in a Mission Viejo parking lot, narrowly missing people who tried to stop him.
According to Sgt. Mike Woodroof of the Orange County Sheriff’s Department, the driver of a dark Nissan Rogue, later identified as 33-year-old Aria Martin, rammed the vehicles multiple times.
He did so Thursday before 1:30 p.m. in a parking lot in the 24000 block of Chrisanta Drive.

Aria Alexandra Martin is being held on $25,000 bond, according to jail records.

The woman was taken into custody after crashing into several cars and chasing police.
A 33-year-old woman was jailed Friday on suspicion of striking multiple vehicles in a Mission Viejo parking lot before confronting police on the 5 Freeway.
The driver, who appeared to be under the influence of alcohol, collided with at least 10 cars, according to agents, before fleeing.
He then pursued the police as they traveled south on the 5 Freeway toward San Juan Capistrano.

Martin sped and crashed repeatedly in many TikTok videos and Twitter messages, but did not get out of the car.
When Martina’s Nissan Rogue sped toward the person approaching her, the person had to flee.
The Nissan Rogue hit another parked car with such force that its bumper hit the ground. As the driver came around the van, the other person tried to open the driver’s side door, but it gave way.
According to Woodroof, there were no reports of injuries. Martin backed out of the parking lot and turned onto the southbound 5 Freeway. He was called to the California Highway Patrol when he was found in a work zone.
The Nissan Rogue has stopped on the highway and OnSceneTV footage shows at least one officer pointing a gun at it. When the police arrived at the scene and arrested Martin, traffic came to a complete stop.
She was arrested and jailed on charges of vandalism and assault with a dangerous weapon.

She was charged with reckless driving and drugged, according to Woodroof. Martina was detained, but it is not known if she was driving her own car.
