Who is Ynw Melly?
Jamell Maurice Demons, known by the stage name YNW Melly, is a popular American rapper and singer, known for his songs “Murder on My Mind”, “Mixed Personalities”, “Suicidal”, and “223’s”. He gained additional fame after he was charged with the double murder of two fellow “YNW” rappers. In November 2019, he released his debut album, Melly vs. Melvin, which peaked at number 8 on the Billboard 200.
However, in February 2019, he was arrested and charged with two counts of first degree murder, for which he could face life without parole or even the death penalty if convicted.
