Gino D’Acampo will also return as host of the rebooted game show, replacing Vernon Kay.

Applications for the new series are open and filming will take place in September and October.

It comes as the current series ended recently.

Family Fortunes pits two families against each other as they answer survey questions.

The show ran from 1980 to 2002, with Les Dennis at the helm during its most successful years.

ITV presenters revived the format in 2006 with a celebrity edit and Kaya as the presenter.

It was shelved in 2015 before the channel gave it another go in 2021 by bringing back civil screening.

This is good news for chef Gino (47), who has had a turbulent few months recently.

The household name recently landed its own dating series on ITV after two pilot episodes aired.

He was also forced to close his restaurant chain after running up more than £5m in debt.
