Jac Cordeiro or Jaclyn Cordeiro recently gained attention after her relationship with Yankee player Alex Rodriguez went public. Like Alex, who had two children with her ex-wife Cynthia Scurtis, Natasha (18) and Ella (14), Jac is also the mother of two daughters that she shared with her ex-husband Laurean Cordeira.
Not much is known about Laurean and Jaclyn’s marriage, other than they were together until at least 2010 according to an obituary in which they shared a tribute to the loss of a family member or friend. What they undoubtedly have in common is a love of fitness.

She also founded JACFIT-body, a fitness company of which she is a director. The Canadian is a published fitness model and author, as well as being a sponsored athlete for the herbal supplement company Magnum Nutraceuticals. Cordeiro has been participating in fitness competitions for more than ten years. Jac studied at the University of Windsor. He graduated with honors in nursing and a bachelor of science, according to Oxygen.
“(When) I entered the world of powerlifting, I immediately fell in love with it,” he said. “This new found love helped me get through the stress of nursing school and kept me focused on my life goals.”
Jac and Alex made their relationship official during a family trip to New York in December 2022. The couple was photographed posing with the Yankee Slugger’s two daughters.
PageSix first reported that Alex and Jac started dating less than three months ago. They reportedly linked up in October when they were photographed looking cozy while out shopping in Beverly Hills, California. Page Six revealed that Rodriguez “enjoyed spending time” with the model/fitness trainer at the time.
“Friends say that he is very happy and enjoying [their] time together. He likes spending time with her. She’s great! She is a former nurse and mother of two children,” a source told the newspaper. “He has a great time with her and he is very happy.”
As for Laurean, he also went ahead and found a partner for himself. Her name is Amanda Lyn. Amanda attended the University of Windsor and works as a real estate agent at Deerbrook Realty Inc.
