Pastor Jack Hayford, a Christian pastor, died in his sleep on January 8, 2023. The missionary died at the age of 88, according to reports. According to his family, Jack Hayford died quietly and was having dinner with his wife, Valarie, on the night of his death, as well as talking to his grandchildren.
Jack Hayford, commonly known as Pastor Jack, founded The Church On The Way in Van Nuys, California and served as a founding pastor for more than 30 years. His work as a best-selling author is also recognized, as he has written and co-authored more than 50 novels. In addition, the pastor wrote 500 songs and hymns. Majesty is one of the pastor’s most famous hymns.
In 1997, Pastor Jack also founded King’s College in Southlake, Texas. He was the university’s president until handing over the position to Pastor Robert Morris. King’s College announced the death of its founder, Jack Hayford, in a press release, saying:
“Pastor Jack Hayford, founder and emeritus dean of the Royal College and Seminary (TKU), passed away on Sunday, January 8, at his residence in the San Fernando Valley in Los Angeles. Angeles, California.”

As a pastor, Jack touched the lives of many, and shortly after his death, social media was flooded with tributes as people shared their memories and feelings about him. The guy, who happens to be the former president of Foursquare Church, took to Twitter to talk about how his life has been impacted by none other than his father and pastor. He declared:
“Apart from my father, no one has had more influence on my kingdom than Pastor Jack Hayford. Valarie, his wife, called me early this morning to tell me that he had passed away quietly with heavenly reward. I know of no one who has had a greater influence on the Body of Christ than he.”

Pastor Jack, former president of Foursquare Gospel, is remembered.
Jack was a famous Christian leader who was admired by the public for his teachings and wisdom. In addition to his other roles, he was president of the International Foursquare Evangelical Church (ICFG) from 2004 to 2009. Following the pastor’s death, Foursquare Church paid tribute to the former the president in a series of tweets.
Randy Remington, the church’s current president, also released a statement, saying:
“Pastor Jack is an ambassador of the Kingdom whose influence extends beyond denominations, generations, and continents. Jack’s personal life has been shaped by his zeal for God-filled worship. The spirit, fervent intercession, and biblical teaching revealed about Jesus, who truly lived a life he wanted others to join.
His four daughters, 11 grandchildren, great-grandchildren and second wife, Valarie, all survived. Hayford’s first wife, Anna Smith, died in 2017, after which the pastor remarried and married Valarie.
