Justice for Uwa: Here’s Genevieve Nnaji’s Message For Men

Nigerian actress Genevieve Nnaji has condemned the rape and murder of 22-year-old Vera Omozuwa, who was killed and gang-raped by an unknown person at the RCCG church in Benin on Saturday.

What did Genevieve say about men?

She said that men abuse their power or have the power to abuse.

“Either they abuse their power, or they have the power to abuse. With or without uniform, we live in constant fear of men. Tina Ezekwe. Vera Omozuwa. Rest in peace, my dears. We will do justice,” she said.

In reaction to her message, some Nigerian men asked the actress; “What if these rapes are planned and ‘performed’ by women?”
