Ken Goldin is the star of the new Netflix series King of Collectibles: The Goldin Touch. The show features Ken buying and selling some rare collectibles, including an original Apple I computer and a Jackie Robinson Dodgers jersey.

This businessman started trading and selling baseball cards when he was only 13 years old. In fact, he earned so much money that it was enough to pay for his studies at the George Washington University School of Business. After graduating there in 1985, he joined Drexel University to study business administration and management to further hone his business skills.

While at Drexel, Ken also joined his father in starting The Score Board Inc. Within a few years, his organization reached the $20 million mark and sold $100 million worth of collectibles by 1994. However, in 1997, Ken stepped down from his position as co-founder and CEO of the company to form Goldin Sports Inc in January 1998.

After that, she went on to sell collectibles through TV appearances, live auctions on Instagram, and before she knew it, she had thousands of followers. So, in 2012, he founded Runnemede, NJ-based Goldin Auctions, and it has had some of his most famous sales over the years.

Now, Ken is one of the most recognized leaders in the collectibles industry, having sold more than $1.3 billion in memorabilia during his career for many of the biggest names in sports, history and pop culture. He regularly sets records for the most expensive trading cards and other memorabilia ever sold, including a Mike Trout Bowman rookie card ($3.9 million), a Kobe Bryant jersey ($3.69 million), and Michael’s autograph card.
