The same thing happened in Taos, New Mexico; I said, “This is something I have to do.” Everyone thought I was crazy. They say, “Kendra, what do you mean? What are you going to build? What is this?” [Laughs.] It’s just the feeling I get about these adventures I go on. It’s just like, ‘This is what I have to do and nothing is going to stop me.’ “
She added: “In the same way with Survived. I haven’t watched it in a while. Last summer I posted an episode to watch before bed. I didn’t go to bed, I stayed up for eight hours, completing the entire season. It was like seven o’clock in the morning, the damn birds were chirping, and I was lying down. [Mimes laying in bed.] This is literally what I said: “I could win this [expletive] game.” And that was it. I’m a bartender. They say, “Kendra, what are you up to?” I said, “I’ll be involved Survived.” I haven’t even registered yet. But I knew I would be on this one [expletive] show. Then I submitted my audition tape.”
Four months later, she got a call.
Speaking of the winner and non-winner, she nominated Natalie for her “determination and will and the fact that she was first in [Edge of Extinction] and made it to the end and made it to the Final Three” and Season 43’s Cody.
Because it has a big personality and takes up a lot of space. She was the class clown in elementary, middle and high school. So she’s hoping that her “craziness, carefreeness and ability to make literally everything a joke will kind of cancel it out.”
Speaking about one experience that prepared her, Kendra wrote, “Just walking the Camino Primitivo in Spain definitely prepared me for this game! Walking more than 15 miles a day alone in a new country with nothing but a backpack showed me how determined and resourceful I am.”

Create those “bricks” out of tires, build a wall, cement the holes, and that’s the basic foundation of the Earthship.”
