Daniel Kwan, famous for directing Everything everywhere and at the same time. along with Daniel Scheinert, he is currently married to his wife Kristen Lepore. On Valentine’s Day 2020, Daniel said that he knew Kirsten almost 10 years ago.
Kirsten and Daniel met in Los Angeles, “more or less online, but through mutual friends” on animation.
“I just commented on a video on Facebook of everyone hanging out,” says Lepore. “And then an animator friend of mine from London said, ‘You should meet this guy. He lives in los angeles. He’s really great.’ Then we all got to know each other: me, Daniel and the other Daniel. It was fantastic for us. We all became fast friends.” At first, when Daniel showed interest in something else, Kirsten put him in the “friend zone”.
“It took about a year before I saw it in a new light and we actually started dating,” she said. They got engaged on New Years Day 2015, which Daniel announced via an IG post.
Kirsten and Daniel exchanged wedding vows on August 25, 2016. She broke the news with a photo that wasn’t from their wedding day.
Dan wrote: “I’m not ready to post an actual photo from the wedding because I don’t think I can find a description that does it justice.
