News about Kirsten Watson
NFL sideline reporter Kirsten Watson talks to Hannah Wilkes on the latest episode of Her Huddle about her career as a television host and how the Los Angeles Rams helped her land a Super Bowl ring.
Prior to joining NFL International, Watson began her career as a production assistant on the NFL’s features team. This allowed her to travel the world, including Great Britain.
She now works for the Rams as a reporter and stadium anchor. She also anchors Channel 5’s Monday Night Football broadcast and works for the LA Dodgers covering Major League Baseball. Watson joined the Rams in time to celebrate their 2021 Super Bowl victory, and even received a ring to commemorate the achievement.
“But the organization has done a really great job of making you feel part of the collective, which I, as someone who was just part of the team, needs to be at this point. “On our rings it says ‘We, not me’ and that was the team’s motto.
This shows that we are not able to achieve this on our own. But when we work together, we can achieve things beyond our wildest expectations.
Watson, a woman of color, spoke on the show about her role as a role model for younger women and people from minority communities.
All of us women are in this together, she declared. “There’s something comforting about knowing you’re not alone. All of us have experienced joy and pain in these areas.
