Fitness advocate and realtor Leiann Davis is on OWN’s Ready To Love. Her friend of 20 years sent her a flier for the show asking Dallas locals to submit their application to be on the show.
She said: “He watches the show regularly and she texted me and said, “You’d be perfect for this show and if you don’t sign up, I’ll sign up for you. “A few days later he confirmed that he submitted my application! The following week I was contacted by a producer and the process began. Without a doubt, I definitely date with intention and I’m ready to love.”
Speaking about her filming experience, Leiann said it was a whole range of emotions. She is also excited and grateful for the opportunity to be a part of the show. She added: “A lot of anxiety before the start of filming and anticipation of meeting my cast. Shooting days can be long and sometimes frustrating. However, I am extremely honored to be chosen for this project and to be working with Lighthearted Entertainment, Will Packer Productions and the OWN Network; and of course I really hope to find my eternal love.”
While working and getting to know the actors and the production is her favorite thing, the elimination process was difficult and “the least favorite part of the show”.
When asked if she found love on the show, Leiann asked, “Well, you’ll have to tune in and watch the show to see if I found love! First, I want to say that I am very proud of myself for stepping out of my comfort zone and being open to the experience of this journey in front of the world. It is very important for us to keep pushing ourselves to new challenges and experiences. It’s never too late to start a new life chapter or a new career.”
