A video of a leopard that was rescued from its distressing condition has been shared on social media. It shows a big cat hanging from a tree after getting stuck in a wire. The clip also shows rescuers using different techniques to save the animal.

Neha Panchamiya, founder of animal rescue and rehabilitation center RESQ, shared the video on X. “Hanging from a tree, trapped in a wire, this leopard was discovered in an agonizing state near a local chicken farm. The RESQ Nashik team was quick to respond when the Nashik Forest Department reported this situation to them. She was put to sleep with a blower and she was helped immediately after she fell,” she wrote.
“Fortunately, she only had swelling and minor wounds on her paws, which she recovered from within 2 days with dressings and medication. After she recovered and looked ready to go out – she was released into a safe habitat near where she was found,” she added.

The video was released on November 6. Since then, it has accumulated more than 11,000 views. The post has collected almost 300 likes. People posted different comments while reacting to the video.
