Meet Leslie Aday, Meat Loaf’s ex-wife
Leslie Aday was the ex-wife of Meat Loaf. He met Leslie in upstate New York, where she was working as a secretary in the Bearsville Records recording studio on February 1, 1979. According to Todd Rundgren, Meat Loaf fell in love with him instantly. Instead of the traditional way of taking Leslie out to dinner, Loaf made what Todd called “his first big move of his” on him at the Bear Cafe.
As Todd recalled, Meat Loaf had a package he brought from New York and gave it to him. And inside the package was a large salmon. They considered the gift an engagement proposal, but instead of a ring, he gave her a salmon.
As reported in “Everything Louder Than Everything Else: Meat Loaf Guide,” Leslie and Meat Loaf were married within a month.

While the engagement was certainly unconventional, their wedding was almost as wild as his proposal to Leslie. The wedding took place at Todd’s home with a ceremony performed by a priest who, according to Rundgren, “was so old he couldn’t tell them apart. So he looked at Leslie and said, ‘Do you, Marvin, accept Leslie as your lawful wife?'”
They married in 1978. They remained married until 2001. Their marriage began to unravel in the late 1990s after Meat Loaf’s hit single I’d Do Anything For Love (But I Won’t Do That). Leslie blames her wealth and what she calls “celebrity” for starting to drive them apart.
Leslie added: “When a man’s midlife crisis merges with a woman’s menopause, it’s unfortunate. And it was a big train wreck.”
But Leslie has a side of the story to share with the world that many may not be aware of. And today, he shared a photo of Jimi Hendrix talking to her on her Facebook during her tour. Yes, Meat Loaf wasn’t the only big celebrity she attracted.
During the 1960s, when British celebrity photographer Terry O’Neill wanted photos of Mick Jagger and his gang, a naked 18-year-old girl sat across from fully clothed men. She was identified as ‘Angel’ and later turned out to be Leslie Aday. The Daily Mail wrote a whole article about her.
Her history included affairs with Mick Jagger (she was dating at the time) and Jimi Hendrix. As for her relationship with Jimi Hendrix, she even performed at the 1969 rock festival in Woodstock, where she lived. He says that she started cooking for him and her relationship went from the kitchen to the bedroom.

She added: “When I was growing up, there was music everywhere, whether it was at a house party or somewhere where my father performed in front of thousands of people. I really grew up in recording studios. They relax me. Even today, they can play music and I can fall asleep on the sofa because I feel at home.
Pearl is now a musician, but began her career as a backing vocalist for her father Meat Loaf from 1994 to 2003. She released her debut album “Little Immaculate White Fox” which was recorded at Grand Master Studios in Los Angeles. Pearl graduated from Long Ridge Elementary School in Stamford.

She had a relationship with Mick for several weeks, they both moved on and Leslie returned home to Pennsylvania. in December 1969. In 1977 he met Mick Jagger again. She was the assistant manager at Bearsville Recording Studio, founded by Bob Dylan’s manager, where the Stones rehearsed for the tour.
