Lindsay Arnold Announced That She Is Going To Leave “Dancing With The Stars”

After more than three decades on the ABC network, Dancing With The Stars (DWTS) returns to Disney+ on September 19 with its latest release. However, that is not the only change this season. Lindsay Arnold, a professional ballroom dancer and Latino, has decided to leave the show. The dancer was a contestant on So You Think You Can Dance and was a choreographer for DWTS for the past decade. On August 31, she announced her departure on Instagram, writing:

“I want to let you know that I have decided not to participate in this season of Dancing with the Stars.”

The female dancer decided to withdraw from the show to focus on herself and her family. She described the selection as “one of the hardest” she had to make and expressed her enthusiasm for the upcoming season.
