List of Prime Ministers of Israel: Israel is a Middle Eastern country located on the east coast of the Mediterranean Sea. It has a diverse population and is known for its historical and religious significance, including being a major center of Judaism, Christianity and Islam. Israel has a parliamentary democracy and a technologically advanced economy.
The head of state and the head of the executive branch of the State of Israel is the Prime Minister. The President acts as the head of state in the parliamentary republic of Israel. While the prime minister has executive powers, the president has mainly ceremonial powers. Beit Aghion, the official residence of the Prime Minister, is located in Jerusalem.
After the election, the president appoints a member of the Knesset to take over the role of prime minister after consulting party leaders on the candidates. He has 28 days for the first presidential nominee to form a strong coalition. He must then be voted on by the Knesset to be able to assume the post of Prime Minister.

About the current Prime Minister of Israel
Naftali Bennett is an Israeli politician who served as Prime Minister of Israel from June 2021 to July 2023. Prior to assuming the role of Prime Minister, Bennett held numerous ministerial positions, including Minister of State. Defense, Minister of Education and Minister of Economy. He is known for his connections to right-wing political parties and his emphasis on Israel’s security. Bennett is a vocal supporter of Israeli settlement expansion in the West Bank and has strong views on the Israeli-Palestinian conflict. He is also involved in promoting technology and innovation as a means of strengthening the Israeli economy.
