Jhonny Duarte Bean passed away on July 17, 2015. On June 20, 2015, Johnny was involved in a head-on collision with a logging truck while on his way to work on Prince of Wales Island, Alaska. As reported, Johnny was not wearing a seat belt and both cars were crushed in the crash.
He also had a brain injury, a compound fracture of his left femur, a fractured jaw, and various other scrapes and scratches. He aspirated during intubation, which led to respiratory complications and he was kept on a ventilator.
