MTV is gearing up to launch its ultimate game show, Love at First Lie, and viewers can’t wait to see who all the liars are. The series will air on MTV on October 12 at 9:30 p.m. ET, with the first episode lasting an hour and a half. After the show airs on television, fans will be able to watch it on the MTV and Paramount+ websites.
This season will consist of 12 episodes and the winners will be able to take home up to $100,000 if they play the game correctly. The couples on the show will have to determine which is the fake couple, and the audience will have the opportunity to do this while watching the episodes. Tori Spelling will host the show and fans from over 170 countries will try to spot the liars.
Love at first sight, rules and formats
Love at First Lie will follow eight couples who live together, but some of them are actors who may be oblivious to their fake relationship. The pairs of numbers in the program will together perform many related tasks, helping participants identify pairs of fake numbers. At the end of each show, the contestants will vote on a possible co-authorship in a real ceremony. If they successfully complete the task, they will receive $25,000 in their prize pool; otherwise they will get nothing. The last couple remaining will receive the full amount, possibly worth $100,000.

Fans can try to spot the liars while watching the show, as advised by Tori Spelling, but they won’t receive any bonuses like the Love at First Lie contestants.

There will be eight couples in the upcoming episode.
Rihanna and Chantz
