A man has found the tooth of a megalodon, an incredibly massive shark that went extinct more than 2.5 million years ago. He shared the video of his discovery on social networks. Since its publication, it has attracted the attention of many.

“Best Megalodon shark tooth of my life?! Follow it to see it dried and colorful. 5 and 1/16 inch quality with green, yellow and white lightning patterns. This shark was 50+ feet long, lived approx. 10 million years ago and I’ve never had a meal with this tooth,” read the caption shared by Instagram host SHRKco. The video shows a man digging in a muddy area. As he carefully removes the mud, he discovers a tooth stuck in it. He can even be heard saying, “My heart just jumped out of my chest. I’ve been digging for this tooth for months. It’s so beautiful.”
