Indian Forest Service officer Mudit Verma told about his driver Kamal and how he lost his home. He wrote on X (formerly known as Twitter) “Our driver Kamal Ji told how an elephant destroyed his house last year. And I was amazed when he said, ‘That was my mistake. If I hadn’t kept a bunch of bananas in my house, it wouldn’t have come.’ We are trying to learn what people here already know. This is not the first time that a jumbo has come close to people and caused damage. Earlier, IFS Parveen Kaswan narrated how the elephant approached the forest officials’ vehicle.
Kaswan wrote: “It seems he smashed our vehicle just for fun. Luckily the staff was on the tower. Life in the jungle.” He also shared a video of an elephant. The clip opens to show the jumbo approaching the vehicle and closing the car door. He also hit the car twice and ran away. Fortunately, there was no one in the vehicle.
Since this video was shared, it went viral with thousands of likes and several comments. Many commented on the post that the elephant just wanted to play with some people.
