They rescued many abandoned dogs and puppies from dangerous situations, fell in love, and even got married in Las Vegas sometime in 2016.
However, this alliance did not end as they reportedly separated and even divorced in 2018.
Naturally, Mariah was bombarded on social media with questions about her relationship status. So, responding to some of those comments on Instagram, she revealed that they divorced after a few months of marriage because they realized they wanted different things in life.
As for Marcelo, he chose to be open about his relationship status as “divorced” via his Facebook page.
However, memories of them together still existed on Mariah’s social media at the time of writing. In an Instagram post dated February 11, 2017, she mentioned that they did it for two years. Again, you can tell from Mariah’s social media that she and Marchel have been in an open relationship since December 20, 2015.
So if it’s any consolation, Mariah once revealed that the two are still friends and that Marcel sometimes comes over to help out with the dogs. But of course this is an update from a year ago.
As of September 2022, Mariah claimed to have found peace while living in Texas. Meanwhile, she continued to speak out about breed rights, the evil of dog fighting, and the inappropriate stereotype of the pit bull. In addition to rescues, she helped run several other family businesses, including tahyo tavern restaurant and tahyo dog shop.

Marcel was currently studying Plumbing, Service and Repair in the NC PHCC Plumbing Program.
