Mason Versaw: From the way she approached him, she was bold. A little confidence and a little kindness. It seems like she’s trying to understand what he’s saying and what he has to offer here, and for Riley it’s a bit complicated since she’s usually the star of the show. But with Erica, with Jack C., I think for him, there was something about her that surprised him, and something that shocked him that he hadn’t noticed before, so he he was shocked.

Aparna Brielle: First of all, we were lucky enough to have so many great references growing up with this character. We have Mean Girls, we have a lot of different movies, but I think the most important thing for me in playing this role is realizing that at that age, nobody really has that kind of confidence. . I mean, they probably will, but Riley definitely won’t, and I really want to understand her insecurities, because there’s a reason she craves the TV series she’s starring in. family.
