Maxwell Frost was adopted at birth and raised by his parents, Maritza Argibay and Patrick Frost.
Supposedly, her biological mother is part Lebanese and part Puerto Rican, while her father was Haitian.
But Maxwell isn’t attached to his birth parents. In fact, he considers his adoptive mother everything and thanks them for being in his life.
Most recently, Maxwell carried Florida’s 10th congressional district by defeating Republican Calvin Wimbish by 19 percentage points. She will succeed outgoing Democratic Rep. Val Demings, who challenged incumbent Marco Rubio in the Senate.
“History was made tonight. We made history for Floridians, for Generation Z, and for everyone who believes we deserve a better future,” Maxwell tweeted after the win.

Maxwell Frost’s mother, Maritza Argibay, is the daughter of Zenaida Argibay.
Unfortunately, his mother Zenaida breathed her last on October 15, 2022 at the age of 97.
According to Maxwell, his grandmother Zenaida was one of the most important people in his life. “She was a believer, a grandmother, a great-grandmother, a mother, a sister, an orphan, a cook, an eater, a survivor and a fighter,” she said.
Likewise, the Democratic representative added that she came to the US from Cuba during free flights in the late 1960s. And after the death of her husband Pepe, she founded a community in the affordable housing complex of the Authority of Hialeah Housing, and was Maxwell’s second home.
Previously, Zenaida moved to Orlando from Hialeah just to raise Maxwell for the first 2 years of his life.

“Every day she comes home from work excited to tell everyone what happened at school. The special thing about those stories is that he always refers to his students as his children,” Maxwell said.
It seems that teaching for Maritza is more than a job, it is a vocation. She loved and treated each of her special students as if they were her family because they were.
“In a world that excludes and ostracizes our students with special needs, it takes a special person and heart to do what my mom does every day. We need more educators and people like her.” Maxwell praised her even more.

Regarding her education, Maritza attended Miami Springs High School and later graduated from Wright State University with a Bachelor of Education in 1986.

Patrick Frost is an award-winning multi-instrumentalist, songwriter, and producer.
Since high school, Patrick was interested in music and played trombone and piano. He even spent his summers attending National Stage Band Camps, as well as Berklee College of Music.
Patrick eventually earned a BA in Jazz Performance from Capital University in Columbus, Ohio, and then went on to earn an MA in Music Theory and Composition from the University of Miami in Coral Gables, Florida.
In 1982 he enlisted in the US Air Force and was stationed at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base. There he was a member of the 661 Aviation Orchestra.
There, a year later, Patrick began working at Cyberteknics Creative Recording in Dayton, Ohio. Thus combined, his work at Cyberteknics and the Air Force Band gave him a solid foundation in multi-channel recording, production, and new MIDI technology.
In 1987, he finally co-founded a production company and began producing music jingles for radio and television, as well as film scores and corporate videos. He went from strength to strength from there.
