A HUGE McDonald’s meal is usually a sight for sore eyes, but the fast-food giant has recently resorted to giving customers a look.
Maccies posted this mind-blowing optical illusion on Facebook with the caption: “Tag a partner who should read between the lines…”

The puzzle contains a series of black and white lines, like a barcode, but there’s more to the image than meets the eye.
If you look closely, you’ll see that there’s a Maccies-themed message hidden between the lines, and just reading it will make you hungry.
However, it is not easy to determine the secret meaning of the image and you may have to squint to see it.
In true McDonald’s style, the phrase between the lines is simply “Bring on the McNuggets.”

The photo, which was liked by more than 8,000 hungry customers, sparked a flurry of comments from nugget lovers who managed to gouge their eyes out at the illusion.
One joked: “First McDonald’s ruined my body and now my eyes. Why do you hate me so much?”
And another chimed in and said, “That just ruined my eyes, thanks McDonalds.”
Meanwhile, one impressed viewer quipped, “Subliminal advertising at its best.”

And judging by the cheeky responses to the viral post, McDonald’s is pretty pleased with itself.

A company spokesperson said: “It’s great to see people reading between the lines and talking about our McNuggets ad.
“We always want to have a little fun with our customers while celebrating our iconic menu.”
