My real scam story docu-series on VH1, premiering Nov. 6, 2023 at 8 p.m. The show followed “Basketball Wives” star Jennifer Williams as she sets out to seek justice for herself after learning that her ex-partner, who turned out to be a skilled con man, cheated on her for thousands of dollars. She intends to work to heal her broken heart and deliver justice on her terms.
Jennifer discovered that her ex-partner had cheated her out of thousands of dollars. He quickly discovers that she’s not the only person he’s cheated on; in fact, he’s been doing it for two years. Seeking justice becomes her duty.
The story first made headlines in season 9 of Basketball Wives. She said a “man” – whom she did not identify – stole her Range Rover. She expressed concern over the loss of her car and expressed a strong desire to make a documentary about it. Last year, the actor even published a detailed post with a picture of a man on it, begging for help in locating the missing car.
“I’m asking for help to find my Range Rover that was stolen from me by this man, Aaron Nichols. He is known by many nicknames, including Nick, Daniel or Chris,” said Jennifer, adding: “He defrauded many women and men of vehicles and large sums of money. He lives in the Atlanta area and frequents Detroit, Houston and Vegas.”
Later, Jennifer appeared on The breakfast club along with his lawyer and a lady named Remona who claims to be Nichols’ ex, claiming he cheated her out of both money and cars. Jennifer claims that although they dated for about a year, they were separated by distance as she lived in Los Angeles and Nichols in Atlanta. She didn’t have enough room for two cars, so after they broke up, she accepted his offer to keep his Range Rover while he moved to Atlanta.
Moreover, Aaron, her alleged ex-boyfriend, is the “man” in question and it does not appear that he stole the car. Aaron wondered why it would take her five months to report a stolen car in a series of confirmations posted on Instagram. She had the ability to track down Range, and the police never brought any charges against her.
Aaron went on to say that Jennifer was so “ugly and obsessed with fame” that he was forced to leave her. In the same article, he mentioned that she asked him to play the “lover” in “BBW.”
Meanwhile, Jennifer said that after she got in touch with Aaron, he stopped returning her car and started not returning her calls or texts at all. She claims she trusted him to keep the vehicle because she thought he was a luxury car dealer. She claims she later learned he allegedly had a history of cheating people out of their money, cars and loans.
