Almar Guevarra met Guy Tang before 2011 and on their first date he serenaded the Bling Empire star with the Mariah Carey song “Circles.” Fortunately, Maria was Guy’s favorite artist. How did she know he was obsessed with Mariah? Guy thought to himself. And then he decided that Almar was “the chosen one.”
Shortly after, in July 2015, the duo tied the knot in an intimate ceremony. According to Almar, his idol, María Carey, even congratulated them on their wedding.
Now, after more than 7 years of marriage, Tang recognizes Almar as a blessing in her life. Throughout his life, reality stars were told that his sexuality was “wrong and a sin” and was shunned by society because he was Asian.
