Cindy Lavender-Bowe and Barnwood Builders were friends from school. They both grew up in West Virginia and had the same friends. However, despite knowing each other for a long time, they fell in love much later and got married on March 31, 2003.
At her wedding, Cindy was just over 3 months pregnant with her son, Atticus.
So, on September 18, 2003, Atticus came into this world and is now a senior in high school. On Atticus’ 18th birthday, Cindy took to her IG to share a collage with the caption, “Happy 18th birthday to my wandering heart. The way you feel and see the world is a gift. You taught me to be a better person and I am yours forever. I love mom.”

For those who are fans of Cindy and don’t know who her husband is, Mark is the host of Barnwood Builders. He graduated from West Virginia University and founded his own business, Antique Cabins and Barns, now known as Barnwood Living, in 1995.
To date, Mark and his team have recovered over 500 pioneer-era structures.

Cindy Lavender-Bowe represented District 42 serving as a member of the West Virginia House of Delegates in the state of West Virginia for over 2 years. She later ran for re-election to the West Virginia House of Delegates to represent District 42 in July 2019.
“I have submitted the 2020 House of Delegates pre-candidate paperwork. It is an exceptional honor to serve the 42. Thank you for your trust and support. CLB ”, announced the candidacy of him on IG.
Unfortunately, he lost in the general election on November 3, 2020.

Cindy Lavender-Bowe’s family
Cindy Lavender-Bowe comes from a family of five.
His mother, Jean Lavender (born September 1952) is a retired Director of Nursing at Golden Living Center. She was also a registered nurse at Heartland in Charleston. As of 2022, she lived in East Bank, West Virginia.
Unfortunately, we don’t know much about Cindy’s father, Kenneth L Lavender (born: April 1952).
But we do know that Cindy’s parents were still married at the time of this writing.
They supposedly married in 1970.
Talking about Cindy’s siblings, she has two brothers named Kenneth (born October 1973) and Craig R Lavender (born June 1976).

In addition, she was “director of land titles and records” at Arsenal Resources for six and a half years. Additionally, she is an attorney who received her Juris Doctorate from Duquesne University School of Law.
