Producer Kevin Turen, who has produced films and television shows such as Idol and Euphoria for HBO, he died at the age of 44, leaving behind his wife Evelina Turen. Kevin produced Ti West’s critically acclaimed horror films X and Pearl and Pieces of a Woman, which earned Vanessa Kirby an Academy Award nomination for Best Actress, along with the popular HBO series Euphoria. In addition, he worked as an executive producer of the television program The Idol, which starred Lily-Rose Depp and Abel Tesfaye, better known as The Weeknd. He has produced numerous feature films, including Operation Endgame, written by Sam Levinson, the man behind Euphoria.
Other credits for Kevnin include Richard Gere’s Arbitrage, Robert Redford’s All Is Lost, and two other Levinson films, Assassination Nation and Malcolm & Marie. He recently appeared in the films Euphoria and The Idol, as well as Nicolas Cage and Pedro Pascal’s The Unbearable Weight of Massive Talent.
